2 NCC Girls Battalion GDC(Boys) Udhampur Organises Webinar on Role of
National Integeraion in Nation Building
To Commemorate 75 years of Independence under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrut
Mahotsav, the 2 J&K Girls Battalion of GDC Udhampur(Boys), under the
patronship of Principal Prof. Subash Chander Sharma, organized a webinar on the
Role of National Integration in Nation Building. Dr. Ashik Malik Senior faculty and
an International scholar from Govt. PG College Rajouri was the Key note speaker
in the webinar.
Dr. Ashak Malik in his interactive and involving talk covered the various aspects of
national integration and accentuated on dissolving the subjective and personal
differences to have an integral and unified view of the society and nation on the
whole. He stressed that if we the people of India Understand this thing, “no force
in the world can stop us from becoming a super power and claim a tall role in the
evolution of universal civilizationâ€. He applauded the role of youth of country
particularly NCC to play a major and vital role in this context by displaying the
ideals of unity, diversity and Discipline.
The Principal Prof. Subash Chander Sharma appreciated the role and spirit of
NCC Cadets to organize and be the part of such nation strengthening ideas. He
had a very high regard for the resource person to meticulously deliver such a
mesmerizing talk on the topic. He impressed upon the NCC Units to organize
more such programmes to aware and involve the maximum, so that the message
shall travel far and wide loud and clear.
The cadets namely JUO Priya Devi, Cadets Priyanka Dwivedi and Sonali also
expressed their views to strengthen the nation with core Indian values.
Besides this four cadets of the Unit also participated in an online Patriotic dance
Program organized by Kirori Mal College, New Delhi.
The entire programmes was conducted by ANO Captain Shivani Sharma .
The online Programme was attended by all the cadets of the Girls battalion of the
college.
