Degree College Udhampur Press Release Hindi Pakhwada Celebrations Conclude at GDC Udhampur Under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the PG Department of Hindi of GDC Udhampur, organized a number of divisional level inter-college activities with relation to Hindi Diwas and Hindi Pakhwada. The programmes were organized under the Patronage of Principal Prof. Subash Chander Sharma. The events organized included slogan Writing on 14-09-2021, Poetry Composition/ recitation on 20-09-2021, and essay writing on 25-09-2021. In the inter-college slogan writing competition out of 12 participants, Suman Devi form GDC Udhampur, Diksha from GDC Majalta and Sapna Sharma form GDC Udhampur Clinched 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions. In the Divisional level inter-college Poetry-Recitation, out of 11 partcipants Shivali from GDC Udhampur, Ranjeet Singh from GDC Kishtwar and Suman Devi from GDC Udhampur Achieved the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. In the inter-college essay writing competition, out of ten participants, Angrej Singh from GDC Udhampur, Neelam Devi from GDC Kathua and Priyanka Sharma from GDC Hiranagar were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd Respectively. In the valedictory on 30th September, today, all the results were declared and the winners and the participants were honoured with certificates of merit and participation. For all the events in the Hindi Fortnight, Prof. Isha Verma from GDC Kathua, Prof. Naresh Kumar from GDC Billawar and Prof. Ushma Sharma from GDC Doda were the adjudicators, who made very meticulous and transparent judgments. The patron and the chief guest Principal Prof. Subash Chander Sharma congratulated the Department of Hindi and members of organizing team for the successful coordination of the event in the online mode. He appreciated and congratulated all the participants of different colleges of the Jammu Division and accentuated on feeling fried in speaking and propogation Hindi and other Indian languages, which are also the base of New education policy 2020. The head Prof. Pooja Dheeman Tendered vote of thanks to all present. All The fortnight programs were planned and coordinated by Prof. Pooja Dheman and Prof. Sanjit Singh
