Hindi Sahit Mandal, Jammu in collaboration with Govt. Degree College today organized Hindi Poetry Competition to promulgate and uplift the tenderness of Hindi poetry. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Nutan Kumar Resutra, worthy Principal of the College. Dr. Aadarsh was the guest of honour on the occasion accompanied by Dr. Chanchal Dogra, Head Sahitya Mandal. The occasion started up with lamp lighting engrossed with all the dignitaries. The participants in the programme students from were GDC Udhampur, GCW Udhampur, Bhaskar Degree College, GDC Neeli Nallah, GDC Majalta, Bhartiya College of Education, Shivalik College of Education. All the participants portrayed and divulged their poems blatantly and captivated the vista of the audience at large. The judges for the programme were Prof. Kiran Bakshi, Prof. Gopal Sharma, Dr. Aadarsh commented and said that such type of Hindi poetry competition should be held across the UT and globe in order to cater the needness and compatibility of Hindi poetry. The first position in the competition was attained by Govt. College for Women, Udhampur, Ms. Jhanvi followed by 2 nd position by Ms. Sugandhi, Bhartiya College of Education, followed by 3 rd position by Ms. Sharda, Shivalik College of Education further followed by consolation prizes won by Ms. Isha Sharma, GDC Neeli Nallah Udhampur and Ms. Priyanka from Shivalik College of Education Udhampur. Further Hindi Sahitya Mandal presented a memento to Worthy Principal of the College Dr. Nutan Resutra. Dr. Resutra also delivered the wellness and adaptivity of Hindi poetry and stressed upon the conduct of such eminent poetry competitions. Vote of thanks was delivered by “Hindi Sahitya Mandalâ€.
