A Maiden Parent Teacher Meet was organized by the IQAC of the College in which a number of parents and guardians of the students along with the college teachers participated with great zeal. The programme started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the senior staff and the parents present on the occasion followed by a melodious Guru Vandana presented by the students of the Department of Music. The programme formally started with the Welcome address by Dr. Bhavnaish Chand ( Principal In charge for the day) wherein he also threw light on the various achievements of the College in preceding years as also the future course of action with respect to academics and extra-curricular activities. He invited the parents to give their valuable suggestions for the same too. It was followed by the detailed report presented by Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, Convener IQAC, on the excellence and the achievements of the college in various areas and future proposals as well as plans in which are pipeline in the forthcoming time. Post to this there was a threadbare open house discussion session of the parents and teachers in which many a parent put forth their appreciation for the current administration under the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. Nutan K. Resutra. They also registered and put on record a number of suggestions for the future course of excellence of the institute and their wards thereof. The IQAC and other members of the staff present attentively listened and responded accordingly to all the viewpoints/ grievances put forth by the parents and the guardians. The meeting culminated with Dogri Song presented by the students Bishan, Vijay Kumar, and Arjun under the supervision of Prof. Samoosh Kumar. The Programme Came to an end with vote of thanks tendered by Prof. Babu Lal Thakur. The entire programme was coordinated by Dr. Pankaj Sharma. Prof. Imtiaz Shahid and Prof. Shaji khan acted as Rapporteurs for the event. All the teaching and non teaching staff of the college was present on the occasion
